Gabriel Jones is a 2027 3B/SS with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Sacramento, CA who attends C. K. Mcclatchy. Lean build with plenty of projection for the future. Ran the sixty in 9.27 seconds. A primary 3B who showed lateral range ability to both sides of his body and flashed soft hands when fielding grounders. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 58 MPH. On the offensive side of the ball he hits out of a narrow stance and uses a leg kick to generate leverage in his swings. Showed an up the middle approach which paired well with his flat bat path through the zone that is conducive to line drive contact. Solid overall at the plate and is a player who will grow into more pop as the frame adds strength.
