Jacob Roth is a 2024 C/3B with a 5-9 200 lb. frame from Florence, MT who attends Florence-Carlton High School. Stocky build. Ran an 8.65 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with developing footwork, gains some ground, average transfer and showed fringe average arm strength with developing accuracy. Also worked out in the infield showing footwork directly to the baseball, developing glove actions working through the baseball and an average throwing arm. Hit from a wide base with high hands, shows strength in the swing and the barrel control to drive the baseball. Some real impact when he transfers the weight and gets on plane with the baseball. Good student.
