Tate Elliott is a 2025 C/3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Midlothian, TX who attends Midlothian High School. Elliott works from an athletic build with strength proportioned nicely throughout. Elliott provided value all over the place defensively, starting from behind the dish where he effectively gained ground in the footwork with a quick repeatable arm action. He displayed effortless transfers and put throws around the bag, posting a 1.97 pop time. From both the IF and OF, Elliott flashed a loose arm action and was fundamentally sound. On the mound, the righty used a simple controlled operation with a full arm stroke and 3/4 slot to top out at 83 mph. He has plenty of projectablility remaining and has natural tools to build on. Offensively, the switch hitter started from a narrow slightly open stance in the right box with present bat speed, using a gap to gap line drive approach to his advantage. He displayed a wider set from the left side and peppered the pull side of the field with strength in the hands. Posted an exit velo of 84 mph. Ran a 7.74 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
