Gavin Dougherty is a 2024 RHP/3B, MIF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Seminole, FL who attends Seminole HS. Lanky frame with lots of room and time to add strength and fill out. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Higher arm slot with a rocker into a leg lift above the belt. Arm works well and has a clean release. Fastball topped out at 70 mph and lived in the upper-60s. Curveball has shape and projection to it while he flashed a changeup for a strikeout. Uses the whole pitch mix and throws lots of strikes. Secondaries show promise and the operation is fairly low effort. Projects well with added strength. Tremendous student.
