Deven Marrero is a 2009 MIF/3B with a 6'1'', 180 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Marrero has a lean athletic frame and he is an athletic MIF with plus defensive ability. He has easy actions in the infield with plus hands and body control. He has excellent arm strength with a loose, easy arm that was gunned at 93 mph across the infield. He has a line drive swing at the plate and hit hard line drives to all fields. He has a smooth swing and projects power in the future. Marrero's total package needs to be followed very closed. He is a highest level 2009 follow with early round draft possibilities.
