Jonathan Gutierrez is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 5-9 130 lb. frame from Fajardo, PR who attends IBAHS. Compact, wiry build with good quickness and athletic traits in his frame. Ran a 6.81 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, charges well with effort and intent from a higher release point. Solid footwork and works well through the ball. Arm strength was present with carry to the bag. Right-handed hitter, wider stance with a high hand set and high back elbow, toe tap timing. Fires his core hard and separates. Turns the barrel over and creates depth with plenty of backside intent. Hard sprays to both gaps with good strength on display. Very good student.
