2022 Sophomore National Showcase (2025 Grads)
Tyler Finkbeiner is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-5 190 lb. frame from New Baltimore, MI who attends Anchor Bay. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection ahead. Works with a high leg raise delivery with an over the top arm slot, collapses his back leg coming down the mound and loses some leverage and angle, arm works well and stays on line well. Fastball topped out at 88 mph with angle to the plate, mostly straight. Also throws a short curveball with some 12/6 shape at times. Solid present stuff for his age with lots room to get stronger, high level projection. 7.11 runner in the sixty. Corner infielder on defense when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread and slightly open stance, big hand drop to start his swing, gets to his front side early and swings downhill. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
