John Disaia is a 2023 C/ with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Lynn, MA who attends Classical. Ran a 7.61 second sixty. Primary catcher with a slender build. Gains very little ground behind the plate as eh woks into the throws. Does a nice job getting the ball out of the glove with a clean transfer showing developing arm strength while recording a 2.27 second pop time. Glove works down to the ball receiving it deep on the body, showed developing footwork as he worked around the ball with good agility and made accurate throws to complete the plays. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base and slightly open stance with a moderate leg kick to get back to even. Could create more drive out of the lower half as the bat path works linear through the hitting zone impacting the ball best to the pull side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
