2004 Underclass National Showcase
Dean Reinke -- Reinke is a sophomore right hander from Florida with a solid 6-0 body. Reinke has very nice arm strength for his age. He throws from a high ¾’s release point with a good downhill plane to his pitches. Reinke’s fastball was primarily 82-83 mph with life for 3 innings of work. He threw a 74-75 mph curveball that had excellent depth and bite. It will become a knockout pitch for him at the next level.. Reinke’s 75 mph change up was a good pitch, too. He showed good command of all his pitches. Dean is a good student.
