Tyler Garbooshian is a 2026 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Brick, NJ who attends Brick Twp Memorial. Medium, compact frame with tons of room to physically mature. Primary shortstop with deliberate, slower actions throughout the fielding process. Displayed a clean funnel out in-front and accurate throws up to 76 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with a coiled leg lift into balance and good lower half usage down the slope. Fastball worked in the low-to-mid 70s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 77 mph from a three-quarters arm slot. Mixed in developing breaking ball with gradual depth and some horizontal tilt to it. Will continue to expand repertoire with additional velocity and physical strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and a leg lift trigger for timing. Intent based stroke with middle-of-the field approach and good extension out in-front. Developing bat-to-ball skills with some projection moving forward. Will continue to improve with physical projection and upside on both sides of the ball.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
