2022 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Aidan King is a 2024 RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Bishop John J. Snyder. Medium to large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 7.91 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a belt high lift. Hands starting high as they drop into motion. Long arm swing in the back before releasing from a three-quarter slot. Athletic actions with a smooth arm stroke making him projectable. Stays direct to dish as he filled up the zone with three pitches. Fastball up to 84 mph working both sides of the dish. Also flashed sharp curveball in the mid-60's and a hard running slider in the mid-70's. Upside on the mound going forward. Secondary Third Baseman, good first step as he works into it well. Slows momentum down as he gathers out front. Transfers and released with a full arm swing. Accurate to the bag as he threw it 83 mph during drills. Left-Handed Hitter, slightly open to start with high hands. Strides out and lands in a balanced position. Looks for hands to create bat speed. Looks to lift the baseball when he gets extended. Named to Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
