Andrew Karhoff is a 2025 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Akron, OH who attends Archbishop Hoban. Extra-large, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.74 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works exclusively out of the stretch with a belt high leg lift at start; short arm action through the back working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 85 mph and maintained velocity very well over three innings of work and pounded the strike zone. Sweeping shape to curveball through the zone up to 68 mph, can maintain arm speed on the pitch moving forward but shows a feel for landing it for strikes. Controls body well in the outfield on the approach, works to a lower slot on throws in, shows accuracy with some carry to the intended base. Right-handed hitter, begins with a tight hand set at hte plate, shorter stroke and stays inside the ball with hands, can get better extension out front, looks to lift and work to pull side at point of contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
