Zach Davidson is a 2019 LHP/1B with a 6-0 204 lb. frame from Hartsburg, MO who attends Helias HS. Compact strong build. Rotational delivery with a very compact arm action, hides the ball effectively, high 3/4's release point, gets good downhill angle to the plate, some energy on release. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, fastball is straight but worked to spots at times and showed feel for the zone. Curveball flashed tightness at times with 11/7 depth, can use curveball more often. Left handed hitter, balanced even stance, keeps hands tight to his body, looks to pull and lift the ball, has some strength when squared up.
