2023 Sophomore National Showcase (2026 Grads)
Ronin McCraw is a 2026 SS/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, possesses some present strength and projects well moving forward. Ran a 6.81 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to the ball with athleticism and takes long strides on the approach, soft hands and repeats actions, gets it out of glove quickly, shows arm strength and carry across the diamond. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; simple mechanical operation in the box, does a nice job of creating extension out front and remains consistent in mechanics swing to swing. Balanced swing with looseness in hands, plenty of barreled contact with occasional lift at the point of contact. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
