Will Plattner is a 2022 C/1B/IF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Chatham, IL who attends Glenwood. Medium frame with a strong well-proportioned build. Ran a 7.28 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, athletic in his setup and moves well laterally, works through the ball with good intent and shows solid arm strength producing strong and accurate pops that translated well to game action. Also worked out in the infield, is balanced and comfortable around the dirt, good glove work and plays with minimal effort and under control. Right-handed hitter, shows great whip through the zone, generates easy lift to the pull side and controls the barrel well through impact with an ability to use the whole field. Translated well offensively to game as well with a no-doubt home run to the pull side. Great student. Named to 2021 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
