Jaron Elkins is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Goodlettsville, TN who attends Goodpasture Christian School. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to fill out. Primary outfielder who works through the ball well and has smooth hands. Shorter arm stroke and the ball comes out of the hand cleanly with throws recorded up to 86 mph with carry. Arm is a weapon and has good actions from the position. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a loose and easy arm stroke. Balanced delivery with good arm speed and a high three-quarters arm slot. Lots of life and sinking action on the fastball. Attacked with only fastballs but life improved quality of the pitch. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance, compact stroke, and quick hands. Gets his hands out in front to barrel the baseball. Coils inward and uncoils well. Line drive swing plane and approach.
