Noel Rivera is a 2023 SS/2B/3B with a 5-9 173 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy. Recorded a 5.03 second forty-yard dash time. Compact, medium frame with lean muscle throughout and some present athleticism. Primary middle-infielder that showed athletic actions through the fielding process, good lateral range to both sides and smooth glove work. Displayed first step quickness and fluidity to field, while funneling out in front and transferring quickly to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 82 mph across the diamond during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a low hand set and hover trigger. Incorporates deep hand load and good, positive weight shift into contact. Aggressive, intent based swing with long, loose swing path and compact bat speed. Displays ability to use the whole field when necessary. Produced fairly consistent line drive impact with present feel for the barrel and extension out in front. Young projectable athlete with quick twitch actions in the field and upside at the plate, will continue to improve with minor refinements to his swing and additional strength. Excellent Student.
