Ethan Finch is a 2024 C/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Stone Mountain, GA who attends Parkview. Medium frame with a physically mature build showing strength throughout. Ran a 6.89 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting down in the stance proving to be athletic in the lower half. Receives the baseball well with strong hands. Proved he could spot up velocity. Arm strength also plays in a big way with a pop time of 1.88 seconds. Fundamentally sound and projects here long term. Secondary Outfielder, short choppy steps into the baseball as he gathers to the side. Longer arm swing and then releases with a fluid arm stroke. Carry to throws up to 96 mph with accuracy. Right-Handed Hitter, high hands to start with a small lift to stride. Creates separation before firing the hands. Short, simple cut as he matches plane well. Easy pull-side power in the swing when he got the bat head out early. Confident in the box finding the barrel often. Outstanding Student. Named to Southeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
