2019 Sunshine Southeast Showcase
Sean White is a 2021 C/RHP, 3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Peachtree City, GA who attends Starrs Mill. Large frame with athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.44 seconds. Shows good balance at the plate, fluidity to hands and shift in lower half, repeats swing well, shows approach to whole field with line drive swing plane, did a solid job making contact. Worked out behind the plate, side-saddle set, works around the ball, transfers cleanly, compact arm stroke with some arm strength on throws, clocked up to 75 mph. Also pitched, works from first base side of the rubber, short toe tap with leg lift to belt, works downhill well with good rotation, fastball worked 80-83 mph with heaviness to it, complemented fastball well with fading changeup. Excellent student.
