Dawson Barr is a 2018 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Flower Mound, TX who attends Liberty Christian HS. Young athletic build, long arm action, mid to low 3/4's arm slot, arm works well, balanced and repeatable delivery. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 88 mph early, nice sink and run on his fastball, hides the ball well and the ball gets on hitters hands. Slurve type breaking ball with good spin and late biting action, rare change up but it showed quality and late sinking action. Worked to both sides of the plate and showed pitchability. Lots of projection and lots of present stuff to like Good student.
