Jacob Davis is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Chula Vista, CA who attends Eastlake. Good length to the frame with strong sized levers that can continue to fill out and add strength at the next level. Ran a 7.38 in the 60-yard dash. Outfielder, confident charge as feet and hands remain in sync. Strong throws with subtle carry to the bag consistently. Right-handed pitcher, standard windup into a high three-quarter slot and medium stride. Fastball showed good run in the high-70s with feel for an 11-5 breaking ball with developing shape. Solid two-way arm talent. Right-handed hitter, wide and even base. Matches plane with solid separation. Worked the middle of the field with several hard liners in his round. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
