Casey Anderson is a 2022 RHP/IF with a 6-2 150 lb. frame from Heber, UT who attends Wasatch. Long frame with width in shoulders. 7.64 60-yd. Primarily pitcher worked with full overhand delivery having hands get back to the chest before timing a big high front kick. Arm works from a wider 3/4 release and full swing. Worked three strong innings using efficient actions to produce no hard contact. Fastball (up to 78 MPH) had sink and run with times of cut going to the glove-side. Curveball was slow and long with the ability to drop into the zone. The slider was a lateral pitch having times where he dropped the slot allowing the tight spin to sweep off the plate. Able to utilize the pitch in multiple counts. In the infield worked wide with the hips and glove played under the ball. High slot and accurate throws across the infield. Offensively worked with low hands and even stance rocking into the load. Swing was compact through the zone with hands working directly to the baseball. Best contact occurred with lift out front.
