Luca Mannino is a 2025 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Wrightstown, NJ who attends Northern Burlington. Young, athletic frame with loads of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 5.30-second forty time. Primary shortstop, played up on his toes, fielding the ball out in front with a deep funnel. Smooth actions with range going to his left and right. Accurate throws across the diamond, up to 73 mph. Secondary right-handed hitter, athletic operation with an above-the-belt leg lift and slight coil. 3/4 arm slot with some whip to his arm action. Lands slightly closed, creating some deception against hitters. Fastball worked in the mid-70s, topping out at 77 mph. Velocity should continue to climb as he adds strength. Flashed some feel for secondary offerings, breaking ball displayed sweeping action, slightly slowing his arm down. Change-up flashed fading action. Right-handed hitter, wide base with a balanced set up and high-hand set. Toe-tap trigger with middle-of-the-field impact when he got his foot down on time. Compact, line-drive stroke with some present quickness to his hands, creating barrel whip. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
