2023 PG Underclass All-American Games
Quentin Young is a 2026 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 6-5 215 lb. frame from Camarillo, CA who attends Oaks Christian. Tall and physical build with broad shoulders and well proportioned strength in the frame. Right-handed hitter, even base with the hands set high, big bat speed and power combination, routinely got the bat extended and hit the ball out to the pull-side. Top of the class power. Simple swing with high end bat speed and obvious feel for the barrel. Primary shortstop, smooth actions working to the spot with easy range to both sides, tons of feel for the leather and trusts the hands nicely, big arm strength across the diamond and the ball jumps out of the hand, recorded throws up to 94 mph. Secondary outfielder, same athleticism we saw on the infield workout, carries the weight through the baseball nicely and works through grounders, full arm swing and the ball explodes out of the hand with big arm strength and carry. Accurate throws recorded up to 95 mph. Big talent and tools across the board. Good student. Named to 2023 PG Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
