Thomas Mulkern is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Frisco. Medium frame with a lean athletic build. Primary shortstop, athletic and active on the dirt, showed good range to both sides of lots of quickness to the spot, plays low at the ball and funnels it to the middle well, very good arm across clocked up to 87 on accurate throws. Also pitches, athletic delivery and compact arm stroke with a quick arm, fills the zone with the fastball in mid-80s and shows good feel to spin, 24-2500 RPMs on the breaking ball with excellent depth. Right-handed hitter, wide base and stays in that lower half well, tight path through the zone with quick wrists and good extension out front, finds the barrel at a consistent rate and able to spray liners to the whole field, was impressive in game action in how much he found the barrel, lots of hard line drive impact to the middle of the field. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
