2022 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Connor Jackson is a 2022 RHP with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Smithton, IL who attends Freeburg Community. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Has a loose arm with a medium arm circle in back and a low 3/4's arm slot coming through. Fastball worked in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, gets very good and consistent running life on the pitch. Change up was his best pitch this outing, maintains his arm speed very well and has some running depth to the pitch. Breaking ball was a sweeping soft slider with occasional depth. Key to his development will be controlling his movement and working more consistently in the strike zone. Good student.
