Lance Davis is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Jonesboro, AR who attends Valley View. Big and strong physical build, looks bigger than listed. Has solid pitching mechanics that he repeats well, repeats his mechanics well and tunnels his pitches while working downhill. Steady low 90's fastball with some heavy sinking life, topped out at 93 mph, gets it to the bottom of the zone consistently. Throws a hard slider with very good shape and hard spin, has feel for his slider and will throw it on any count. Big horizontal life on a firm change up. Three pitch starter profile and the ability to throw strikes. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Arkansas.
