Dylan Murphy is a 2022 RHP/2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.03 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher, worked quickly and threw strikes, has a medium quick back side arm circle with a balanced delivery. Hides the ball well throughout his delivery with good linear direction. The fastball sat 73-82 mph with slight arm side run. worked a slider that sat 71 mph with 10/4 spin. Also worked out in the outfield, showed some athleticism, came to the ball well, showed good hands and footwork with a quick transition and firm accurate throws. Right handed hitter, hits from an even base loaded into that back leg with a regular stride, hands sit high by ear. Has a long swing, transfers his weight well consistently hitting the ball hard. Excellent student.
