2020 PG Summer Main Event Showcase
Chase Owens is a 2020 SS/2B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Stockbridge, GA who attends Heritage HS. Recorded a 6.92 second 60-yard dash time. Younger frame and build with some twitch throughout and room to fill out. Primary shortstop with lightness to his feet and actions to either side. Arm strength currently developing at 68 mph. Righthanded hitter with a square stance and a lower hand set. Level bat plane with some length to the stroke. Gap to gap intent and approach. Leg lift to stride with some barrel waggle. Some contact skills present and gets the bat head out well.
