Kerry Herndon-Brown is a 2022 LHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Germantown, MD who attends Georgetown Preparatory. Slender atheltic build with lots of room to get stronger. Primary left handed pitcher who graded out higher as a position player at this event. Compact arm action on the mound with a 3/4's arm slot and a slow paced delivery. Mid 80's baseball, mostly straight with occasional arm side running life. Change up was his best pitch this outing with good arm speed and fade, tends to slow his arm and body on a soft curveball. 6.40 runner in the sixty. Showed nice arm strength from both the outfield and first base in drills, obviously has the speed to have plus range in the outfield. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a long and fluid swing with good separation and lift out front, projects well as a hitter as he gets stronger. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
