2021 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Jayden Martin is a 2022 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Lilburn, GA who attends Home School. Recorded a 7.12 second sixty yard dash time. Extra large frame, long and lanky build with plenty of room to fill, exciting physical projection moving forward. Primary first baseman, has some stiffness to the actions but moves well for his size. Has an idea of the footwork required, can make the routine plays and get the job done. Left-handed hitter with a wide base and slightly open stance, has a high hand and back elbow set. Has present bat speed and a lofted stroke, showed big time pop to the middle of the field and can impact the ball to both gaps. Drops the bat head in the zone early, has definite strength in the hands, found plenty of barrels during his round and swings with great intent. High ceiling player with real power potential, exciting projection moving forward. Great student. Named to the 2021 WWBA Workout Showcase Top Prospect List.
