Armando Rocha is a 2022 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Jersey Village. He showed good speed with a 6.99 second sixty. A primary shortstop with a medium stocky build. He stays low through the ball on the infield with a clean gather and quick transfer, his good footwork allow him to move quickly through the ball under control before getting off a strong throw at 90 mph. His right-handed swing starts with an even stance and eep hands, his weight begins on the back side and stays there with the barrel working longer through the zone matching plane with the pitch, he worked best to the pull side with line drives through out his round and added a double down the line in game action. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Houston.
