Cooper Rummel is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Dripping Springs. Extra-large frame with a physical yet projectable build. Right-handed pitcher only, only pitched at this event. Easy balanced delivery, stays in a good line with excellent tempo and drive down the mound. Longer take back with a loose arm stroke through release, works over the top and creates excellent downward angle on the fastball, gets heavy onto hitters in the upper-80s and has peaked as high as 92 this summer. Has good command of the fastball to both sides of the plate, can generate some ride up in the zone and plays well up there at present. Has comfort with the curveball at present, really good pitch with sharp downer break and depth, able to get swing-and-miss with it already, has also shown some budding feel for a tighter more lateral slider, not as comfortable with the pitch at present but has the makings of another good breaking ball long term.
