Parker Thomas is a 2023 MIF/RHP, 3B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Bowie, MD who attends Archbishop Spalding. Tall and projectable build with long limbs that will easily fill with maturity. Ran a 7.12 in the sixty yard dash. A primary infielder, stays light on his feet with good lateral quickness, good timing in his approach with an extra quick transfer and release. Actions project big and will transfer to games easily. A switch hitter. RIght-handed, starts even with his base and uses a hover lift to coil. Stays behind the ball and uses a middle of the field approach. Left-handed, balanced and slight open start. Direct path and creates space out front, good timing and looks to pull. Accurate barrel. A secondary pitcher, quick shoulder with a short arm stroke, slightly closed landing that creates some deception and a high 3/4 release. Four pitch mix with a curveball that has big 11/5 shape, a shorter slider with depth and fading changeup with deception that collected swing and miss. Worked best to the arm side. Good student.
