Jonathan "Scout" Sanders is a 2019 OF/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Whitesboro, TX who attends Whitesboro HS. Athletic frame with good instincts and room to add strength to the build. Primary outfielder with good momentum through throws and arm speed. Smooth transfer and advanced footwork that works through the ball well and throws had good carry. Accurate across with arm strength up to 84 mph that will only improve. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a clean arm action and threw from a three-quarter arm slot. Creates good arm side run on the fastball with a low effort overall delivery. Compact delivery with a belt high leg lift and featured a sweeping breaking ball. Fielded position well and athleticism allowed to repeat mechanics well. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance. Direct path to contact and an easy overall swing. Flashed some power and had a slightly lofted swing plane. Can drive the ball to all fields and flashed fluidity with consistent hard contact. Named to the 2017 South Underclass Showcase Top Prospect List. Excellent student.
