Everett Martin is a 2022 SS/RHP, C, 3B with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Plantation, FL who attends Elev8 Sports Institute. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a medium athletic frame. Moved around in the dirt well and has some timing to his actions. Good arm strength across the diamond. Switch-hitter and starts from a narrow base with open feet from the left side. Employs a deep load and showed quick hands. Ball comes off the bat well. Starts from a wide base with open feet from the right side of the plate. Uses a shorter swing and shows the same hand speed. Found a good amount of field with a line drive approach. Also impressed in outing on the mound. Utilizes a core level leg lift and a quick-paced tempo to his delivery. Arm action is quick through the back before releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Showed good arm speed and moderate arm side run on the fastball that he ran up to 89 mph. Mixed in an 11-5 curveball that flashed some late break to it. Real athletic look on the mound. Good student. Named to 2021 Miami Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
