Kellen Pate is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Rogers, AR who attends Shiloh Christian HS. Slender long limbed young build, lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from the stretch with a low hand delivery, lands open with his front side with some energy at release, keeps his mechanics simple with simple adjustments to become more directional and well paced. Steady 76-78 mph fastball, has good running life at times and works down in the zone, misses low when he misses. Curveball showed good depth with feel to throw it to locations and get it over early in counts. Tends to slow arm on change up but threw it for strikes. Good feel for pitching for his age and will continue to improve with more repetitions and physical maturity. Very good student.
