Gerard Santos is a 2020 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Corona, NY who attends Benjamin N Cardozo HS. Recorded a 7.67 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lean build with long limbs that projects well physically. Primary righthanded pitcher with a three-quarters arm slot and remains online at the balance point. Good balance and leaks over his front side early at times. Fastball has short sinking life and the curveball has 11/5 shape with some feel for releasing it out in front. Secondary outfielder who plays through the ball well with deliberate actions. Loose arm action with some range to either side and has fluidity to movements. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set and a high back elbow. Spread open stance with a simple trigger into the swing. Flashes some barrel skills with short, compact swing. Best contact came to the opposite field gap. Good student.
