Benjamin Pedersen is a 2019 RHP with a 6-5 235 lb. frame from Duluth, MN who attends Duluth Marshall HS. Extra big and tall build. Deep arm action in back, drop and drive mechanics cost him plane on his pitches. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight. Change up was his best pitch this outing, showed late fading action and some feel. Curveball gets out of the tunnel but has some depth on it and is consistently landed for strikes. Big athletic from the Far North who should continue to improve. Good student, verbal commitment to Missouri.
