Jake Mueller is a 2023 C/RHP, 3B, OF, UT with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Cape Coral, FL who attends Island Coast. Large and physically advanced frame. Ran an 8.13 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with developing hands out in front, comes out of his crouch opening his front side into his throw downs, uses a longer transfer prior to release, young actions with room to improve and time to do so, 2.01 second best pop time. Secondary third baseman, worked out in the infield with young footwork and a full arm action into throws, topped out at 80 mph across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a narrow and open stance, hands work well into the swing with quickness to them, does a nice job of meeting the ball out in front with strength at impact, takes a short stride into contact with a young weight shift, will unlock even more power with added lower half involvement, middle to pull approach with a feel for the barrel.
