Fidel Alviar IV is a 2023 3B/RHP, 1B, OF with a 5-8 191 lb. frame from Immokalee, FL who attends Immokalee. Medium, broad shouldered build with present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.95 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, moves well on feet and shows body control, softness to hands out front, accurate throws with carry across the diamond. Slows momentum at the ball in the outfield, fields it out front, taller release and can incorporate additional lower half into actions, under the ball at times with throws. Also pitched, repeats delivery well, small side step into a leg lift just above belt, breaks into a full arm action through the back getting to a high three-quarters release point; fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly true in life, arm works and filled the zone, attacked hitters with fastball. Curveball shows 12-6 shape when on top of the ball, up to 71 mph with depth, repeats arm action. Righthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing and gets front foot down well. Loads with intent and generates easy bat speed through the zone, whips the barrel and squared it up well in game. Ball jumps when squared, comfort working to pull side and shows jump to all parts of the field, incorporates lower half and hips well into swing. Good student.
