2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Zachery Mack is a 2021 1B/RHP, 3B with a 6-4 225 lb. frame from Manvel, TX who attends Pearland Dawson. Ran a 7.71 second sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with a physical frame and strong build. Shows good footwork around the bag, lacking quickness to the actions at times but making accurate throws to bases. Has present arm strength up to 85 miles per hour. Also worked out at shortstop, showing a third base profile with a clean backhand and good glove actions. Made strong throws with developing accuracy across the diamond at 87 miles per hour. Has present strength at the plate, looking to drive the ball with a lifted barrel plane and developing barrel control. Swing translates in game action, recording multiple triples on the weekend. Also pitched, showcasing a simple delivery with clean movements and excellent extension towards the plate. Has a short arm action in the back with good deception behind the back through the delivery. Holds fastball velocity well at 82-86 miles per hour, topping at 87. Also showed a curveball at 72. Excellent student. Named to 2019 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase, Top Prospect List.
