Zachary Cole is a 2019 OF/RHP/SS with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Ozark, MO who attends Springfield Catholic HS. Medium frame with long limbs and a lean, athletic build. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 7.12 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with clean, athletic footwork while closing to the baseball. Athletic glove actions while working through the baseball with quick, smooth exchanges. Released form a compact three-quarters arm slot showing good arm strength that produced solid carry to the bag, topped at 89 miles per hour. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing good range to each side with athletic footwork. Clean hands while funneling and working through transfer. Topped at 85 miles per hour across the infield produced stiff carry to the bag. Left handed hitter with a crouched, open stance and leg lift trigger. Produced some shift into contact with rotational lower half actions. Inside, direct hand path to to contact and generated some lift through extension when connection out front. Primarily utilized a mid-field approach but also showed the barrel control to work to all fields consistently. Very good student. Named to the 2017 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
