Marcos Reyna is a 2008 RHP/OF with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Delano, CA, who attends Delano HS. Athletic and angular frame with present strength. Reyna was one of the best under class prospects at the event. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with and explosive arm. It is long and loose with good arm speed, and he gets extension on his pitches. Reyna has confidence on the mound and goes after hitters with a bulldog approach. He gets running action on his fastball that topped out at 84 mph, and mixes in a sharp curveball at 67 mph. Great upside on the mound. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance and gets up on the plate. Reyna has a quick bat through the zone and hits hard line drives with strength to all fields. Defensively he shows his arm strength with a quick release at shortstop. He is a versatile player who can play the infield and outfield. He is a player that needs to be followed.
