Will Gambino is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Haddonfield, NJ who attends Paul Vl Catholic. Large frame with excellent present build and physicality; very good overall strength and athleticism combo. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.10 seconds. Switch-hitter, shows very good hitting tools from both sides with a bit more natural pop from the left side. Gets off backside onto positive launch angle with excellent bat speed, shows feel to hit from both sides, big strength in swing, legitimate HR pop from left side. Good athleticism in the outfield with clean footwork, works through the ball well and shows good balance throughout, big time arm strength up to 91 MPH to target. Pitched as well, works exclusively from the stretch, full arm stroke through the back to three quarters arm slot, fastball worked 84-86 MPH with short running life to the arm side. Showed curveball with short biting shape; flashed changeup with solid fading action. Named to 2017 Northeast Indoor Showcase-NJ Top Prospect List, good student. Verbally committed to The Citadel.
