Jason Grant is a 2020 SS/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends Windermere. Shorter athletic frame, loads of room to add strength. Primary infielder, has quick feet and works well through the ball, good first step. Hands work and put himself in a good position to field. Average arm strength and a low arm slot, fits at second base with the ability to make quick turns around the bag. Right-handed hitter with a wide based and high hands. Small stride and uses a long torso that creates good torque. Stays inside and found the barrel regularly with a line drive approach. Gets a lot out of his frame and showed good hand strength, saw pitches deep before attacking. Solid runner and has upside.
