Joe Barlow is a 2014 C/RHP/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Riverton, UT who attends Riverton HS. Young slender athletic build, lots of room to get stronger, not a prototypical catcher's build. Very loose and flexible behind the plate, athletic actions, has quickness in his exchange and arm stroke, good arm strength, accurate throws, 1.82 best pop time, threw very well in games, top level defensive tools across the board. Right handed hitter, deep hand load, long loose swing, hips glide through contact, mid to opposite field approach, best contact right centerfield, has good feel for the barrel, projects well with added strength and has some hitting tools and projects. Good student.
