Tyler Morton is a 2015 SS/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Columbus, NE who attends Scotus Central. Has a good projectable frame with an athletic lean build. Has good smooth actions on the infield. Has good footwork which allows him to get to balls in the hole, with a good strong arm across the diamond. Has a back load at the plate with good balance and a sound approach with good swing mechanics. Showed good bat speed with line drive contact, drives the ball back up the middle and has good use of his lower half. Pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm action. Has a quick tempo on the mound, is aggressive with his fastball keeps the ball down and has a balanced online delivery. His slider has good late bite to it and is an out pitch, he also throws a good straight change which he maintains his arm speed on. Is a very good student and is an interesting 2-way player with loads of potential.
