Cole Zabowski is a 2016 1B/LHP with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Collins Hill HS. Tall and angular athletic build, lots of physical projection. Left handed hitter, good approach in batting practice with good direction to contact, showed bat speed with quick hands and long levers,ball came off the barrel hard. Pulled front side off badly in games with far less balance, has the tools to improve with better game approach. 7.14 runner, shows his athleticism on defense, moves well with good footwork, accurate throws. Also pitched, big leg raise delivery, lots of deception with long arms and legs all over the plate. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, change up best pitch with good feel and life, didn't not show a breaking ball. Good student.
