Lachlan Fontaine is a 2013 3B/SS with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from North Vancouver, BC who attends Sutherland. Has a large projectable frame with a strong build. Has very good arm strength across the infield, has an over the top release, good hands, good footwork, has a short release, a quick arm with lateral agility. Has a leg lift trigger, sound approach, a line drive swing plane, has good bat speed. Makes solid contact at the plate with pop in his bat, has lift in his swing, and the ball jumps off his bat. Is a good student and an interesting prospect to follow.
